No approved store matches that area yet.

The network is being rolled out store by store. Try a nearby city, or ask your usual shop to apply to offer the PAPS cash service.

Pins mark the approximate centre of the area a store published, never its exact premises. A store is listed only while Papscash has it approved, and a service only while it is switched on.

How it works at the counter

Step 1

Find an approved store

Search the network by city or neighbourhood. Only stores Papscash has approved appear.

Step 2

Pay the cashier in cash

Tell the cashier the amount you want to load and where it should go — mobile money, a bank account or a supported wallet.

Step 3

Check the amount, fee and destination

The cashier shows you the exact amount, the service fee and the destination before anything is sent. Nothing changes after you approve it.

Step 4

Wait for the provider to confirm

The cashier's system submits the transfer, and the store is told it is confirmed only when the payment provider confirms the money reached you.

What to bring

  • The cash you want to load.
  • Your phone number.
  • The destination: mobile money number, bank account number, or a supported card or wallet.

Fees you can check

Each transfer carries a Papscash service fee and, where the store charges one, the store's own fee. Both are shown to you before you approve, the total is capped by Papscash, and the store keeps a receipt for the transfer. You never pay a fee that was not disclosed to you first.

Transfers are carried out through Papscash's approved payment providers. A transfer only counts as delivered when the provider confirms it, so a store cannot mark your money as sent without that confirmation. If a transfer fails, the store's held funds are released back and no money is taken from you.
