How Meet rewards work

The honest version

Rewards come from the revenue Papscash Meet earns, from ads, host plans, sponsorship fees, ticket fees and merchant fees. A fixed share of each day's net revenue becomes that day's reward pool, so the rate you earn can change every day, up or down, with what the platform actually earns. Nothing is paid out of money the platform does not have.

What makes a minute qualify

  • You are signed in with a verified Papscash account.
  • Your camera or microphone is active, or you are interacting: speaking, chatting, voting or raising a hand.
  • Your browser tab is in focus.
  • The meeting has at least 3 verified participants.
  • The meeting has been running for at least 5 minutes.

How your minutes are weighted

The daily pool is split 80% to attendees and 20% to hosts. Your share of the attendee pool is your weighted minutes divided by everyone's weighted minutes, capped at $0.0020 per minute. Minutes in meetings hosted by paid-plan accounts, sponsored or ticketed events count at full weight. Minutes in meetings hosted by free accounts count at half weight.

Loyalty levels multiply your rate: Member 1x, Active 1.25x, Star 1.5x and Elite 2x, based on your qualified hours over the last 30 days. Daily, monthly and per-meeting caps apply ($1.00 a day, $10.00 a month, $0.5000 a meeting). If everyone's payouts would exceed the pool, everyone is scaled down proportionally, so payouts never exceed real revenue.

Host cashback

Paid-plan hosts share 20% of the pool in proportion to the qualified participant-minutes in their meetings, multiplied by their plan: Basic 1x, Pro 1.25x, Business 1.5x, Enterprise 2x. A host's cashback is capped at 10% of their plan fee each month; anything above the cap goes back into the attendee pool. Hosts can withdraw cashback or use it as credit toward their next plan payment.

Fair play

Bots, multiple accounts or devices, and meetings created only to farm rewards are detected and blocked. Rewards from flagged meetings are held for review and can be reversed. Bonuses for completing polls, quizzes and feedback forms are paid from the same pool.
